Yesterday we went up the CN tower in Toronto, Canada. It is 1,815 ft, 5 inches tall, the world’s tallest tower and one of the seven wonders of the modern world. It was pretty sweet. You take a one minute elevator to get up to the top which is insanely fast if you were wondering. The elevator has a glass bottom too which is scary as heck. Once you get to the observation deck you could see the bad weather coming in and shading part of the city which was pretty cool, and apparently if it’s super windy you can feel it swaying if you’re at the top.
One of the things we did was walk on the glass part of it where you can see straight down to the people and concrete below. It was VERY scary at first, especially since the tour guide there kept jumping on the glass to freak people out. Eventually we all got used to it though even though it’s incredibly counterintuitive to step out onto something that is seemingly unstable. In any case it was wicked cool.
